DO'S (Safety Rules)
Always light fireworks outdoors in an open space clear of buildings and dry trees.
Keep a bucket of water and sand nearby for emergency extinguishing and burnt sparklers wire disposal.
Use a long incense stick (agarbatti) to light fuses from arm's length distance.
Ensure children light crackers strictly under adult supervision.
Store fireworks in a dry, cool wooden or cardboard box away from electrical points and stoves.
DON'TS (Dangerous Actions)
Never attempt to relight a dud or unexploded cracker fuse. Wait 15 minutes and pour water over it.
Never light rockets or fireworks holding them in your hand.
Never light fireworks inside glass bottles, tin cans, or enclosed spaces.
Do not carry fireworks in your pockets.
Do not burst loud noise crackers near hospitals, pet shelters, or senior citizen homes.
Avoid wearing silk or nylon dresses while playing with fireworks.
